Reflections on my 25th year

Last year when I was turning 25 I panicked. Not because I felt like I was old but because I thought I would wake up and be 30 and have been doing the same thing since college. That's when I made the list about the 5 things to do before I'm 30. I eventually settled into the idea of being 25 and told myself "25 is going to be my year." Well, it definitely turned out to be pretty great! In fact, I'd say things were pretty much turned upside down since my initial panic. I think I can handle 26 for now. Bring it on!

I thought I'd comment on a few of the highlights of the past year...This is basically like one of those TV shows where they try to make a new episode but really they're just re-packaging re-runs.

1. Summer in Eden Park. I loved going walks in the park with Kelly and Kaelyn.
2. It was great to live with my sister for the first time since I'd moved out for college.
3. Vacation with the family in St. Lucia. It was hot but I love anywhere with a beach and I love speedboats. It was also cool to fly in a helicopter!
4. Meeting Chad Johnson. (Yes Melissa, I think it still counts even if he didn't really say anything)
5. The Echo Re-launch. I wasn't there but my heart is still there and I know God is doing great things.
6. Moving to London. It's starting to feel normal now but it still hits me fairly often and I'm amazed.
7. Going to Paris...twice. I love Paris and I love French food!
8. Going to Athens and Barcelona.
9. Making great new friends in London. I love you all (especially if you're reading my blog!)
10. Seeing the amazing ways that God provides. I think my favorite name for God is Jehovah-Jirah, "The Lord will Provide." The rest are in no particular order but I think this might be the biggest highlight.

On a side note, it's been about 13 months since I started this blog and exactly 1 year since my visit to London to consider moving...time flies.

I'm turning to 31 this year soon, I don't feel any different but appearance...The dry weather in Britain is keeling my skin. I have been studying here for 3 years by the way.
