It's beginning to seem a little more real

There is now a tentative timeline for my move to London. Of course, this is all still assuming that I reach an agreement with the company about my benefits package- this should happen within a week or so. Since I'm 99% sure we'll reach an agreement, I've been trying to nail down the expectations and possible date that I might move. If you know me at all, you probably know I definitely need to plan ahead or I stress out even more. It looks like I will be moving between August 8 and 31st. During the week of August 8th there is a meeting I will need to go to. After that I’ll likely spend a few days there with a relocation company to find an apartment before coming back to Cincinnati. I’ll be home for a couple weeks and then make the big move in time for a meeting on the 31st. This has all yet to be officially agreed upon but I thought I’d keep you posted.

All along I’ve been thinking I had until the end of the summer and it seems like that will turn out to be the case. But now that I actually have a date in mind it seems a lot more real again. I’m not freaking out or anything…

You most definitely shouldn't freak out. You're going to get do something totally awesome. You'll have all the wonders of London to see at your leisure. If that isn't enough for you, you'll be able to take the Eurostar to Paris, Brussels, or Amsterdam. You'll be able to see all of Europe while you're living there!

Oh, since you're a big spy nut, how about taking the Orient Express from London to Paris or from Paris to Venice. You'll be able to do that too!

Wow. It brings a little tear to my eye to hear the official date as well. I'm still excited for you -- just sad for me! Steve and I were just wondering about your timeline today. Prayers will continue for you!

Well, I was going to write you a little comment but Ditto took the words right out of my mouth. So, I'll just say that you're super blessed with this incredible opportunity. It's gonna suck at first, for sure. You'll get over it soon enough though and have the time of your life and look back on this experience with amazment and thanks! I'm just glad I get to see you before you leave. I was worried you'd be gone before I got back. Fun times are ahead and prayers to support you are flooding to you like a mighty river!!
